The latest TaylorMade Driver to hit the Tour! The new driver has been placed on the conforming equipment list and a number of Tour players put the driver straight into play at the John Deere Classic and Scottish Open.
The main attraction for the new TaylorMade SLDR is the rail on the sole of the clubhead that allows you to adjust the centre of gravity and manipulate ball flight. The rail on the sole of the club on which a weight slides into 16 different positions, allowing you to create either draw or fade bias.
Unlike the previous drivers (R11, R11s & R1) that had Moveable Weight Technology (MWT), which involved incredibly fiddly weights that were easily lost, the TaylorMade SLDR seems to be very intuitive and idiot proof.
The SLDR, features a black crown, and has the same adjustable hosel from the R1 & RBZ Stage 2, which allows you to tune your loft from 8 degrees up to 12 degrees.
